Today, the Wilson Center's Mexico and Canada Institutes hosted a trilateral event with government representatives from all three North American countries to discuss building a competitive and prosperous North America under USMCA. Speakers included Joseph Semsar, Deputy Under Secretary for International Trade, Performing the non-exclusive functions and duties of the Under Secretary for International Trade, U.S. Department of Commerce; Luz Maria de la Mora, Undersecretary for Foreign Trade, Secretariat of Economy, Mexico; and Ailish Campbell, Chief Trade Commissioner of Canada & Assistant Deputy Minister, Global Affairs Canada.
