On October 30, the Canada Institute and the Canada-United States Law Institute (CUSLI) convened expert panelists to discuss the outcome of the October 21st federal election. Nik Nanos provided an in-depth analysis into just how the Conservative Party won the popular vote and how the Liberal Party fell short of securing a majority government. We were joined by Peter MacKayAlex PanettaChristopher Sands, Lawrence Herman, David Jacobson, and Selma Lussenburg who delved deep into the political outlook and business perspective for Canadian politics, Canada-U.S. relations, and Canada's engagement with the world.
