Mr. Beatty will discuss the state of Canada-Japan relations, and the opportunities for deepening the political and business relationship between the two countries. This includes helping companies increase trade and investment flows through the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership. Mr. Beatty will also discuss the outcomes of Japan’s G-20 Presidency this year, and the work of the business community through the Business-20, to enhance the strength of the global economy.
