    Economic Development and Trade Minister, Deron Bilous will lead a mission to Japan and China from November 15 to 27, 2016 to diversify markets and build on his previous mission in March. The trade mission will focus on promoting Alberta industries, such as clean technology, oil and gas, forestry, agri-food, tourism and emerging technologies. While in Japan, Minister Bilous will attend the Canada Food Expo in Tokyo. A separate Alberta-China trade and investment attraction mission will take place from November 21 to 26. That government-led business mission will connect Alberta companies with potential Chinese buyers and investors. Minister Bilous will attend seminars taking place in Guangzhou, Shanghai and Yantai.

    RepliCel, the Canada-based regenerative medicine company was mentioned in the most recent Abenomics report by the Government of Japan.

    カナダの航空会社エア・カナダは、2017年6月よりカナダのバンクーバー国際空港とセントレア(中部国際空港)を結ぶ直行便を、最大週4便体制で運航することを9月28日に発表した。エア・カナダが開設するバンクーバー~名古屋線は、同社のレジャー向けブランド「エア・カナダ ルージュ」のボーイング 767-300ER型機で運航される予定で、中部地方からのカナダへのレジャー需要、その逆にカナダから中部地方へのインバウンド需要を見据えた定期便になる予定だ。
